Frozen Flame Guide: How to Get Solid Essence
In Frozen Flame, there is an item called Solid Essence, which is used in crafting and repairing. There’s also a particular quest that asks you to sacrifice one of these. So where do you find Solid Essence in Frozen Flame? Believe it or not, you can grow it yourself.
Before you can do this, though, you’re going to need to build a planter. You do this by opening up your Craft menu and selecting the planter, then placing it in your desired location. The ingredients you need are:
Weirdly enough, planters work similarly to the workbench, in that you’ll interact with the planter, then select the item you want to grow. But similar to cooking on the bonfire, whatever you grow requires some time before you can harvest it.
The recipe for Solid Essence is:
One of the tutorial quests teaches you how to mine flint, but in case you’ve forgotten, you mine it from nodes that look like this:
Magic seeds are also pretty easy to come by. You can harvest them directly from plants that look like this:
However, those plants are a lot rarer than those obnoxious glowing blossom things that are pretty much everywhere. You can also harvest magic seeds from those things. In case you’re not sure what I’m referring to, they look like this:
They glow blue during the day, and pink at night. No matter when you kill them, though, they commonly drop Magic Seeds. Just make sure you loot them once they’re dead.
Once you have the necessary ingredients, you can craft your Solid Essence and let it grow. It should take about a minute and a half to ripen. Once it’s ready, just interact with the planter again to harvest your Solid Essence.
And that’s how you grow your own Solid Essence in Frozen Flame.

Frozen Flame recently debuted in early access on Steam. During the adventure, we will be creating a number of items to help us survive. Below you will find a description of one of them — Solid Essence.
How to create a Planter?
In order to create Solid Essence you must own a Planter. This tool enables you to grow plants. Its construction requires:
Once you put up a Planter you can interact with it and choose what you want to grow.
How to create Solid Essence?
In Frozen Flame you can create a number of items referred to as Magic Essences. These are items that in the initial phase of the game are used to complete one of the tasks. Later, on the other hand, you will need them to craft items and repair weapons and armor.
One of the items classified as Magic Essences is Solid Essence. To create it you need:
Frozen Flame is a survival game with RPG elements. It is the debut project of Dreamside Interactive studio. During the game we find ourselves in the fantastic Lands of Arkana. This area suffered from a cataclysm, which brought all life to the brink of extinction. We, on the other hand, play the role of one of the survivors, who tries to live in the destroyed world. Our task is to collect resources, create new items and fight the enemies we encounter.
The game has received an average reception. At this point, only 61% of player reviews on Steam is positive.

Frozen Flame Magic Essence Farming Guide
Our Frozen Flame Magic Essence Guide will tell you what Magic Essence is, how to Farm it, and how to get the Magic Seeds you need to Farm it!
What is Magic Essence in Frozen Flame?
Magic Essence is an item in Frozen Flame that primarily serves two functions. It’s used for Crafting and it’s also used to Repair Items.
This particular class of item may seem unimportant at first; after all, you only really need it for one early-game Quest. After that, you’ll typically only use it to repair rarer Weapons and Armor that you may get from Chests. However, the things you can Craft with the higher-tier Magic Essence are rather valuable indeed.
How Frozen Flame Magic Essence Farming Works
Frozen Flame Magic Essence Farming is fairly simple, at least in terms of typical Farming mechanics. All you need to do is place a Planter, interact with it, and then insert the correct ingredients to make the desired Magic Essence.
Every Magic Essence Recipe requires 1 Magic Seed. The higher-tier Recipes will also require a second ingredient such as Flint or Iron Ore. The Magic Essence is otherwise useless on its own — you need to use it to Craft or Repair something to get something of value out of your creation.
Take note: much like Potion brewing, it takes time for the Magic Essence to grow. Plan accordingly, and consider building multiple Planters to speed up production.
How to Get Magic Seeds in Frozen Flame
There are three ways to get Magic Seeds in Frozen Flame:
Magic Essence is fairly abundant and easy enough to get if you know where to look. Don’t waste your Coins on buying it!
